Our ambassadors join us in spreading the word about The Sir Thomas White Loan Charity – using their stories to inspire other entrepreneurs.

OSCAR FORD

Oscar is the owner of Anuncia – a boutique digital marketing agency specialising in pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. Anuncia work with leading charities and businesses in the UK to deliver performance, whether that’s donations, sales or leads.

Oscar became an STWLC Business Loan borrower in September 2018. The loan provided vital growth capital, taking two full-time members of staff (including Oscar) in 2018 to four in 2022, while growing revenue by 2.5x times in three years.

HANNAH MYATT

Hannah, also known as Doe Demure, is a performer and dance instructor specialising in fusion belly dance, burlesque, and hula hoop. Based at Create Studios in Leicester’s bohemian Clarendon Park, she teaches adult dance classes for beginners as well as performers, and produces regular showcases. Hannah’s classes are available online live on Zoom, with dancers from all over the world benefitting from her training. She travels across the UK to teach and perform at events, parties, and conventions.

Hannah became a Sir Thomas White Loan Charity business loan borrower in September 2017, with her loan helping to develop her dance business.

STEFF LEE

Steff Lee is co-owner and creative director of Kino Bino; an independent animation studio based in Leicester. Kino Bino has been creating content to educate and entertain for over a decade and its personal approach to its work results in appealing animation and illustration for education and businesses. With a range of clients across the globe and millions of individual views online, our fun and playful animation have been enjoyed the world over.

Steff took out a Sir Thomas White Loan Charity business loan in June 2018 to allow the company to grow from a sole trader to a limited company with two directors. The studio was able to update and buy new equipment and cover costs for branding and the website of the new company brand, which was launched early 2019. Since then the company has grown to a creative team of five and is continuing its work in education, healthcare and children’s content.

Lee is owner and managing director of Orange Fox Studios, a video storytelling agency in the heart of Leicester’s Cultural Quarter. Orange Fox Studios help brands and businesses engage with their customers through creative video storytelling and our mission is banish the bland and the boring one story at a time.

Lee, has been both an education loan and business loan borrower with the Charity. The education loan he obtained allowed him to study a Masters in film making, whilst his more recent business loan was used to invest in 4K video equipment to allow his company to grow.
